Welcome to our website, developed for both our patients and members. Through strong partnerships with other Healthcare Organizations, we offer services focused on keeping our members up to date with the latest medical developments and our patients the best medical care. The KZN Specialist Network is made up of more than 450 members across different disciplines, such as Surgeons, Pulmonologists, Paediatricians and much more.
Our service dedicated to patients, called “For Patients”, gives you access to a range of patient educational material that has been reviewed and endorsed by the KZN Specialist Network. You can also participate in our Patient Voice Surveys and search for a Specialist in your area.
What We Do
The KZN Specialist Network is a non-profit, multidisciplinary medical specialist organisation with more than 450 specialists from the KZN region. One of our objectives is to Protect and Promote the Professional interests of the KZN Specialists in Private Practice. We achieve this through continuous engagement and negotiating with funders and healthcare organisations on behalf of our members.
Access to medical presentations, medical articles, CPD certificates and invitations to special events are a few of the many services available to registered Healthcare Professionals who are Members of the KZN Specialist Network. The KZN Specialist Network Business Unit was formed to assist our members with tariff and billing matters, funder issues and medico-legal matters.
For patients, we strive to facilitate the provision of Ethical, Quality and Cost-effective Treatment to the patients in KZN. Through this website, patients can search for the respective specialist, book appointments and make enquiries.
About Us
The KZN Specialist Network was formed 20 years ago. It was borne out of the desire to unite all specialists in Kwa-Zulu Natal. We are the only multidisciplinary medical specialist organisation in the country. We are a representative body of more than 450 specialists with a membership that includes specialists from all disciplines of healthcare.
